Now in the Parker Pie Gallery, “Trees” by Northeast Kingdom artist Gabriel Tempesta.
Gabriel was born in Wolcott, Vermont and grew up at the edge of the woods on a green hill. Before graduating from Peoples Academy high school he already decided that an artistic career was going to be in his future. He felt a creative urge early on and taught himself watercolor painting from library books. Gabriel soon found that he was the most at ease when drawing and painting, and the hours just seemed to slip by while at his drawing board. In 2002 Gabriel graduated from Montserrat College of Art in Beverly Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration. He is currently working on illustration for Backcountry Magazine, Elmore Roots Nursery, and Otterbox. He has also illustrated a full length Choose Your Own Adventure book for Chooseco LLC. Gabriel now lives in Craftsbury, Vermont. -from gabrieltempesta.com
